I would trust your doctor and ultrasound tech, and if they can't tell, you could wait until the next ultrasound or until the baby is born. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful, but I don't know if you'll get any good answers with that picture. Well, maybe you have a 50/50 chance of a good guess.
I wouldn't make any announcements unless the US tech was sure. If you aren't scheduled for another US any time soon, look into going to a private imaging facility and trying again. A lot of these places are really affordable, you just have to make sure you check into them and make sure they're certified and safe
