Home Study: Home Visit Question

Our Home Visit is tomorrow evening and I was just curious, if I need to have anything on hand, food or drink wise? I've read different articles saying just drinks, but I didn't know if Tea and Water would suffice? Our SW said our meeting would take a few hours because after the walk through we are sitting down and discussing other things. I know the house doesn't have to be immaculate or anything like that, I just want our SW to be comfortable. Any advice would be appreciated. :) Thanks!

Re: Home Study: Home Visit Question

  • Thank you! I wasn't going to do any food. I was just going to have drinks, but the only things we keep in the house is sweet tea and tap water, so I wanted to make sure that would be okay/enough. LOL! Thanks for your help!!

  • I remembered to grab some bottled water, because we typically drink straight out of the tap.  She took a bottle of water, but I did not think offering food or anything would be necessary.
  • It's hot outside. Offer a cold beverage.
