BIG day for me!!

So we had our 14w appt today with midwife and it went great! Bebe Hr was strong at 154 
gotta love that sweet sound I also decided today would be a good day to tell office manager, especially since in second trimester! He took it so well and was simply the sweetest, I truly wanted to give him a big hug and kiss! He genuinely wanted to discuss the pregnancy and how surprised he was because of my great work ethic. I work construction and told him my concerns were more that the guys would treat me like a lepor! He assured me they will give me shit lol but that they will also look out for me. "My crew guys really are wonderful" just feel relieved! Plus it is my birthday and now that the breaking of the news is over I feel wonderful!

Maybe not a surprise. I see on another forum young girls asking "who's quitting their job since finding out they are pregnant?" And all I can think about is "how the heck are you going to support yourself for the next 9 months+ with no job?" Like they all of a sudden can't work because of their "fragile" condition.
