Lot of single hiccups (for me...not baby)

It seems like every time I have a change in position (sitting to standing, getting up from bed, standing from bending) I get a hiccup in response. It's like my diaphragm is recovering from the sudden movement.

There is so much weird pregnancy stuff that happens to your body...anyone else have this happening?

  • Yes! Single hiccups are better than unstoppable hiccups though. :)

  • Yep! That's been happening to me for a while now. I actually don't mind it because usually my hiccups come in 3s and are kind of painful

  • This happens to me, but it doesn't seem to be related to movement on my part.  They are very random, very loud, and usually only one at a time.

    This is me, too.

  • Yeah, for me they are not painful. It's just when that first one comes I think, "Oh man the hiccups" and then it's one and done. My husband is usually amused.

  • ha ha - this is so me! I have been getting only one hiccup for quite awhile now. They are really loud and my husband cracks thinking it's like a dinosaur or monster sound! Not sure but hoping it goes away soon :)
