Lamp base and cord? The pluggin is babyproofed, but LO loves playing with the lamp. It is the only light in all of the living room so removal is not an option.
I don't know what to tell you. I try to keep all the stuff that needs plugging in behind or near enough to plugs that the cords can be hidden behind large furniture.
After @anakah and @amber... do you think duct tape would work like those things? It would be an instant fix as opposed to waiting til I could get to the store/it comes in the mail.

The duct tape may ruin your paint/carpet? If you're going the tape route as a temporary solution, I would probably try that blue painters tape first.

Pretty sure that's a fire hazard. You aren't supposed to put things on top of cords if my memory serves me correctly.
ok, so I googled and found this... https://www.whattoexpect.com/wom/family-life/extension-cord-safety-in-the-home.aspx I amend my previous statement about the painters tape and stick with the duct tape based on the above article. However, if it were me, I'd probably still use the painters tape instead since it would be a temporary fix until I could get the proper covers and would rather not ruin the paint.
Could you tuck the wire under the baseboard? We did that in our old place. Can't here because we have laminate and no wiggle room between the floor and the baseboards.
Hmm... I think I may just rearrange the living room, or put a baby gate up blocking off the whole section. Thanks for the info, especially the fire hazard. I didn't know about that danger.
Re: How would you baby proof this

Well then, it's still cute. And I'm sure your kid is cute too.
