Do they always mean a food intolerance or could it be a normal color for an ebf baby? They arent always mucousy, just randomly, but are always loose curdy yellow/green
Blood once that the doc said culd be from a small anal fissure. She has reflux verified by an upper gi scope so she does spit up occasionally but not all the time. Yes only randomly mucousy. Always yellowish green. Daycare describes as lime green. Seedy

Did the dr examine your LO and find an anal fissure? Has her stool been tested for blood?
Have you looked online at the range of normal baby poop colors (gross, I know). That can maybe help you figure out if the yellowish green is in the range of normal. I'm not sure if the reflux could cause mucous in her stool maybe?
They have not been tested. It happened once and looked like when u blow ur nose and a bloody snot ball comes out. I told the doc about two white dots by her booty and he said she had a little fissure there. Some sites say green can be Normal or it could be food intolerance or oald.
Do you think you could have oversupply? Typically you get green, frothy stools with that, so I'm guessing not. I would just keep an eye out for other symptoms.
I know i do in the morning bc that is when i pump extra for my freezer and i get 8/9 oz on top of her eating. But the rest the day she takes one boob and sucks until i cant hear her swallow anymore. Its def fast flow bc she gulps and coughs/ gags.
She did have another tiny speck of blood in her stool tonight. Its hard to decide if her symptoms are reflux or something else thats why i was hoping the poop could be the deciding factor but i get conflicting info online bc green goes either way it seems! Usually tho they are either loose and seedy or a lil mucous. Thanks for all your input!
Re: Green stools
So they're randomly mucousy, and yellowish green? Any specks of blood? Other symptoms (excessive gas or spitting up, rash)?
