2 Any updates? Went to maternal fetal medicine a week and a half ago and all of sudden ds's nuchal fold was measuring thicker than normal. All sonos and first screen have been normal up until then. They got tons of views of baby's heart, an schedulede for a fetal echocardiogram at my next visit. They also ordered a Panorama. I just it the results today, and all is well. Still low risk, 1 in 10,000, and confirmed it is a baby boy!! I am so so relieved. I have been worried sick this last week and a half!!
3. How are your symptoms?
They have been a little rough, mostly orthopedic. I have De Qervains Tendonitis in both wrists, trigger finger in my right ring finger, pelvic girdle pain, and strarting with sciatica. I had a steroid injection in my right wrist last week, and am planning surgery soon.
4. GTKY.
A talent show??! Never been in one, lol! I was home schooled.
I don't know.....Maybe storytelling? I've been told I'm very expressive and tell stories well.

1. How far along are you now? 20wks tomorrow
2. Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc? A/S on thursday and 20 wk appt.
3. How are your symptoms? doing pretty well these days and baby is moving more during the day. Still way more active in the early evening though.
4. GTKY: If you were in a talent show, what would be your talent? I'm pretty funny, if I do say so myself, so maybe stand up. Also, I can do a pretty mean shuffle ball change, so tap dancing -- the kind a 7 yr old might do.
@RN536 - hope you start feeling better soon. The RLP/sciatica/back aches have been hitting me off and on and it's no fun.
@lcareccia - congrats on your little man!
@KSwitz011 - good luck at your appointments!
2) had our 20 we anatomy scan our girl is still a girl sheers currently breech but no worries she was looking out at our appointment so we got to see her yawn and rub her eyes (what a ham) she's right on schedule no issues she's in the 55th percentile for height and 48th overall.
3) morning nausea seems to have subsided (knock on wood) but random nausea throughout the day is frequent (thinking it's due to her noggin being near you stomach and she must be practicing her head banging rock concert skills) have had persistent headache and serious pain in one wisdom tooth that seems to be receding
4) I think my talent would either be telling jokes or baking because I'm pretty great at both.
1. How far along are you now?
18 weeks
2. Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc?
Had a not so pleasent visit with the Perinatologist on Friday. My BP is fine but they got back the 24ua and I'm spilling a bit of protein. My recent OB visits have shown none so I'm confused. Also the yucky symptoms I've been having (wich my OB & I thought were due to meds) seem to be non related to pregnancy according peri-doc, again confused. I am categorized as over weight and she seems to attribute everything to that. Despite the fact that pre-pregnancy I had no health issues or symptoms, and have been on a healthy path for years now, including weight loss (no weight gain in preg either, so far). In the end my cousin who's a nurse practitioner said to call insurance and get second opinion. But baby is doing great! So I'm ok with that!
3. How are your symptoms?
BP meds give me constant headaches, palpitations and this weakening feeling... Other than annoyed lol just typical stuff: fatigue, restless at nights, winded and slighty constipated.
4. GTKY: If you were in a talent show, what would be your talent?
I would probably try singing... && hopefully not crack. Lol
2. Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc? Last week. At MFM he said all looks good and cervix is 4.0cm. He also looked at the baby and said all looks good so far. Praying this continues.
3. How are your symptoms? No real symptoms. Just getting bigger.
4. GTKY: If you were in a talent show, what would be your talent? This is a hard one. I don't feel like I am talented in a talent show kind of way. I guess I can still probably hold a handstand for a long time for a 32 year old mom of three.
1. How far along are you now? 21 weeks
2. Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc? Nothing this week, but last week I had my OB appointment and anatomy scan. Since I already know I'm having a planned c-section, I cheekily asked my doctor if he could schedule the surgery now so I could plan the birth on a day that would maximize my maternity leave. To my surprise, he agreed!! So unless something unforeseen happens, this baby will be born on Monday, December 1.
3. How are your symptoms? I feel pretty good. Just tired and out of shape.
4. GTKY: If you were in a talent show, what would be your talent? Is Scrabble a talent?
18w 4d
2. Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc?
A/s last Tuesday-two healthy little girls! They showed no signs of ttts (twin to twin transfusion syndrome) and the dr could easily see the membrane separating them so that was a relief.
I go in wed to my regular ob and then again next week for another u/s
3. How are your symptoms?
Definitely appetite has increased! I've been told to gain a total of 40 lbs and today I am right about halfway there so that is making me feel good. Heavy, but good about how the babies should do.
I'm back to needing naps and having to sleep in. DH has been great about not pushing me to do more and to take it easy if I need to.
4. GTKY: If you were in a talent show, what would be your talent?
Taylor Swift impression. (I'm a middle school teacher and my students think I look like her. When I have a sub they're convinced it's because I'm on tour)
Hey Ladies! Wow did I need this today?
1. How far along are you now? 19 weeks 3 days
2. Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc? I have the 20 week scan tomorrow (we will stay team green) but I got a call from my perinatologist's office today to confirm that appointment and they don't have me scheduled with my high risk doctor (whom I made my appointment with) but rather a new doctor in the practice. My doctor is out of town for 2 weeks. Since I was in 2 weeks ago for an emergency visit for my SHC and had to see my doctor's partner and confirmed the appointment with my doctor, I guess things have changed. I was very upset as I have been very nervous about my SCH because I was told that my doctor would discuss it with me tomorrow. I, of course, became emotional and asked why I was not notified that I would be seeing a new doctor and said that I would like an explanation. They turned it on me and said that I had scheduled for the wrong doctor. Umm...no. So I take a breath to pull myself together (stupid hormones) and the receptionist hung up on me. I don't even want to go to the appointment tomorrow and wait a couple weeks for my doctor to get back but know that I need to figure out what is going on with my SCH. So I guess that I will go in and see a doctor that knows nothing about me or my pregnancy for the biggest scan of the pregnancy!
Wish me luck!
Like I said, stupid hormones, I will survive!
3. How are your symptoms? On top of all of that, I am getting morning sickness again. I swear I loved being pregnant with my son!
Haha!
4. GTKY: If you were in a talent show, what would be your talent? I would love to say singing but don't know that everyone would agree!
Sorry to be a downer, I hope that you all have great weeks!
2. Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc? Lots of updates!
Met with the perinatal OB and had a level 2 ultrasound. Baby's omphalocele contains her stomach and liver. Her heart looks good except that it's being pulled to the center of her chest. Brain, hands, feet, spine, and size looks good. Also met with a genetic counselor. Decided to decline on the amnio since baby looks good (minus the omphalocele), my quad screen was clean, and our family histories are clean. It would only add stress.
Also visited our local level 4 NICU and met some of the doctors. They were all very nice and reassuring. And we visited a pediatric cardiologist for an echocardiogram. Except for the location, her heart looks great! No need to go back.
Looking forward to a week and a half of no appointments!
3. How are your symptoms? Physically, I feel great! Baby's kicking and I'm loving it! Mentally, I'm doing much better this week. Just taking it one day at a time, and I can talk about it without crying.
4. GTKY: If you were in a talent show, what would be your talent? I can make bunny faces!
2. Updates: This week had anatomy scan. Baby girl looked great. Cervix has shortened some to 3.2, but the md won't consider cerclage until it is 2.5 or less. Had some new bleeding in the middle of the scan, but they think if was just from excessive pushing on my abdomen during the ultrasound. I'm on the p17 shots and trying to rest a much as possible when not at work. Oh and passed my 3 hour glucose test.
3. Symptoms- lots of round ligament pain and an achy uterus
4. Talent- I used to be a fast pitch softball pitcher and could pitch 60+ mph underhand.
2. Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc? Perinatalogist and anatomy scan last week. Found out we are having a baby girl. We are thrilled! Dr isn't super happy that we went against her opinion to stop lovenox blood thinning shots but we feel that neurosurgeon made a sound case against it. OB heard a strong heartbeat yesterday.
3. How are your symptoms? Starting to get uncomfortable in any position that I sit, stand or lay in but feeling our baby girl kicking around makes me forget all about it
4. GTKY: If you were in a talent show, what would be your talent? Putting together IKEA furniture. Definitely.
