We're finally sleeping! Sleep Sense update..

Thought I would come back with any update. I posted a couple weeks ago asking if anyone's heard about the Sleep Sense, and I'm so glad we gave it a go. If you remember my previous thread dd was literally up ALLLLL night wanting to be held, rocked, or nursed back to sleep. I was miserable, exhausted, and totally losing it trying to take care of her and her 2yo sister. I knew we had to do something, because everything we've tried on our own has never worked. I looked into the Sleep Sense, and read such great reviews. We started a little over a week ago, and she's sleeping through the night. The first few nights were rough, and I thought here we go again, theres no way this is going to work. Then on the 3rd night she had her first long stretch. I totally thought it was a fluke, then each night after that was better. We are on day 8 and she is still sleeping through the night (10-12hrs). This has been such a lifesaver for our family. I highly recommend it for anyone that has been looking into it. And if you have never heard of it, here's the site https://www.sleepsense.net/html . It looks super sales pitchy, which is the reason we delayed. But if you go on the Facebook page, you will see so many real people raving on there, that's what had us sold:)

We did the package with the phone and email consultation. I forget what it was called. But i was able to email them everyday as we went along. I felt like I had so many questions and so many variables came up, that the extra support really helped us get through it.
  • there are a few different options in the program, depending on the age of your baby and whether or not you mind tears. We did the no tears option because it breaks my hear to hear my little one cry even a little. So the program basically teaches you how to put your baby down awake and so he/she can can learn to fall asleep on their own. there are steps to follow, and different techniques, and you just go through step 1 and keep going. If your baby starts crying you can pick her up and comfort her using different methods, and then start with step 1 again when she calms. And the steps are different if you don't mind tears. Hope that makes sense?

This whole post seems like an ad!!
A little bit.  It reminds me of that one person who kept replying to super old posts about sleep, saying she wanted to help others through her blog....
