Sounds like.....

Kids say the darnedest things! Every time someone sneezes (including himself), DS immediately says, what sounds like, asshole. Though we think he's saying achoo or bless you, it totally sounds like asshole. We may or may not have done a lot of fake sneezing yesterday. Lol! What is your LO saying that has you in stitches?

  • Ha, that's funny!! J has started saying Poopy, randomly...all the time. DH thinks it's hilarious. I think it's funny, unless I'm in public with him, like at church, then it isn't. Everyone around us thinks it is, thankfully.

    Henry Cavill...You're welcome!

my fave is now she says her name kind of...show her a picture of her and now she says "so phie" show her sofia the first and she says "first" (or what sounds like first)
she also likes to say "heyulp!" (help) esp at times like, we're at the mall and i'm trying to put her back in her car seat...luckily no one was around...
she's def repeating us more...so we have to be careful with our potty mouths....

DS does this at all the stores too, but he's always yelling about clocks. He just leaves out the L. :)

Also, every time someone farts, he points at them and yells loudly, "POOP!"

7/5/11 MC at 8 weeks. 5/17/12 BFP, twins EDD 1/20/13! 6/20/12 Baby B's heart has stopped beating. 8/31/12 Baby A is a boy! And is perfectly healthy and thriving. 1/19/2013 emergency c-section, Thoren is perfect. 3/1/2013 told i will never be able to conceive again. 12/16/13 told they were wrong!

  • I think I've shared this before? Or at least I have on Parenting. But DS's "truck" is pronounced if you know him like "cuck" but if you aren't familiar with his verbal skills it sounds very much like "cock" and he likes to point out all the trucks.
Walking through a crowded parking lot is loads of fun with DS pointing to all large vehicles yelling "cock! COCK" - especially since they are driven mostly by men.

I spend a lot of time going "Yes, that is a TR-uck"
I tried to teach DS the difference between a car and truck. He used to be able to say car pretty clearly, but now he's started combining both words and yells "COCK" every time he sees a moving vehicle. Whoops!! But it is pretty cute.
