I hate to take up the space here after not being on the board all week but its been a really shitty one. There are babies and pregnancy mentioned so be fair warned.

* 1. My grandfather passed away last weekend and I went up for his funeral this week. He has been very sick for over a year and it was almost relieving that he passed. However the constant thought running through my head was flashing back to when I was pregnant for the first time last summer when I came up for my great aunts funeral. I hadn't told anyone then and it was this stupid trigger all week long.

2. My cousin is pregnant and due 2 weeks after what would have been my second EDD. We are actually pretty close and she has been so respectful to me (this TP isn't for her), but I swear if I have to listen to one more relative fawn over her belly and talk about how wonderful motherhood is I seriously will hurt someone. I know they can't help it, but seriously come on. It's not like its her first. She already has twins.

3. Can I throw in a final TP to my uncle? He is 50. He got remarried a few years ago to a woman who is now 40. He has 2 daughters 13 and 11. I found out this week he got his vasectomy reversed. And his wife spent a lot of time in their hotel room and not at the house with us because she was tired and feeling sick. I am going to be seriously so pissed off if they are pregnant. He has been such a douchbag to the entire family throughout my grandfathers illness. It would just suck if they were pregnant.

@kate6214‌ I am so sorry about the loss of your grandfather and the shitty shit you have been dealing with ((hugs)).

My TP is for my MIL, she always creates drama and tries to create splits all the time. She started an argument with H last night over us not driving out to see her enough. She was bitching about me and how we are always at my parents' house and always doing things with my family. My parents live the same distance as her and I have been to their house 3 times since we moved here in 8/12. The family functions we attend are at my sister's because she lives 7 minutes from us. When we lived upstairs from his mother we went to EVERYTHING and almost had something to do every weekend because his family lived so close. We see my parents more because they come to us. I have explained toy mother that I work 2 jobs and we both travel 90 miles a day to work. It took her a while to understand but my MIL thinks we should drop everything to attend a 14 y/o nephews birthday party on a fucking week night after work.... So who cares that I have two dogs at home that haven't been out since 615 am so we can drive an hour and pay a $12 toll for a fucking piece of cake and to have the kid complain about the gift. Sorry for the vent but she pisses me off.

I'm sorry...I am always waiting for this argument with my MIL, so far she hasnt said anything.
We see my family a lot because they have more time and they bother to come to us, 45 minutes away. My in-laws work all weekend and always expect us to drive down to them, which would be fine if they ever came to us as well. I work two jobs too, so I don't have a lot of time either. I would like to relax at some point!

@Denise91980‌ mega TP to your mil. Some people just don't get it. We live 2 hrs away from my family and it got shit for going to my cousins kids birthday party. I don't even know the kid really. And on top of that, it was the same day as when I was triggering. FOR REAL? Some people just don't think before they speak.

TP to the grumpy old man at my work who soured the end of my pretty good day. We were short a person at work today, and even still, we managed to get all of our work done in time to sit for half an hour in the afternoon and watch part of a movie with our residents. And then, to make tomorrow easier for ourselves, we bathed one of our harder residents tonight, because we can do it together that way, and she always sleeps better.

Cue grumpy old man, a half an hour before we leave. He comes out and starts bitching about how we sat around all afternoon, and that this resident is supposed to be done TOMORROW, not tonight. We told him that we are allowed to sit with the residents to do something if all of our work is done, and that we had our reasons for bathing the resident tonight. He flipping flew off the handle, and started yelling at us about how he pays our salary, and that he was going to talk to the boss on Monday about this. Meanwhile, bosses son is standing right there basically laughing at him. Yeah buddy, that's going to go real far. Ugh...

Also, a minor TP to myself. I realized yesterday that I would have been 19 weeks. It kind of soured my whole day, and then I kept crying when I got home =/

Sounds like its a weekend for crappy people. Hope it has gotten better for everyone.

My TP is for the failed back surgery that I had a couple years ago that has been nothing but crippling this evening. Lots of the heating pad, muscle relaxers, and pain pills while canceling my plans. I hate it when pain turns me into a hermit so to speak. I hate Chincoteague ponies and I swear that I will never train another one.

@paintdadanta‌ big (easy) hugs! I hope you feel better. That has to be so hard. I had a herniated disc last year and holy shit it was the worst pain. I couldn't walk or bend over. I couldn't even sit down to pee! I can't imagine how you feel. Stay strong!

@Amybunny30 - Can't imagine having to watch the videos let alone the training. Sounds like you need a double glass of wine!

@rslh10 - Yes, they are! I don't think anyone realizes how much you use those muscles until they don't work right. I had a herniated disc between my L5 and S1 in 2009 when a horse that I was breaking put me through a wood fence. Two years later, I couldn't deal with the pain and constant narcotics so I had a discectomy and spinal fusion which obviously didn't work. Chiropractors are wonderful though and I would highly recommend that for anyone in the same boat.

I know this is stupid, but my TP is to people who just "pop in" to the check-ins, and that I have literally never seen post on any other thread. Never offer support or communicate other than the check in. I mean if you're busy, cool. But make an effort. X( I'm just grumpy tonight. Things are rubbing me the wrong way for some reason! Grrr!

You should be a check-in leader. People pop into check-ins and never respond or return again. It's hard not to become a little jaded when people first intro bc 3/4 of them will never come back. Agree completely with the bolded.

Honestly, I just don't think (some) people realize that the other ladies here have lives too. People take that for granted and don't appreciate others' time.
