Has anyone conceived after uterine ablation and tubal ligation?

Hi ladies,

I am  wondering if any of you out there have heard of, or have successfully conceived after an ablation or tubal?  I am a 34 year old mom of three, and had both procedures in 2007 when I was 27 and in an extremely abusive marriage.  My OB/GYN at the time gave me two options ablation or hysterectomy because I had non-stop bleeding for 5 months and was extremely ill after my third.  I opted for the ablation only to wake up in recovery with absolute regret.  The ablation was un-successful  and I had a normal period within month.

I am now re-married to the most amazing man who has never been married and no kids of his own.  We went to a specialist two years ago before we got married and he said that my uterine lining and right tube were healed but that he would prefer that we use a gestational carrier instead of me trying to carry just to be safe.  Since then  I have been doing a lot of research and have read that the body has an amazing way of healing it's self and our environment has a lot to do with fertility and cycle.  We got married in September and I began acupuncture, started eating organic, cut out dairy, and stopped drinking coffee and alcohol and we just conceived a little over a month ago.  However I started bleeding last Thursday and my doctor did some blood work called and said she was sorry, but my levels have dropped and this pregnancy was not viable.  I have passed no clots and am so confused.  I only bled Thurs/Fri and it was not even close to as heavy as my periods are.I don't know if I should be worried or not and my mind will not rest.

My husband thinks it is a good sign that we did conceive and that it will happen again.  I would love more than anything to experience pregnancy and having a baby with him since he does not have any children of his own, and I never had loving support when I had my children.  I am just so discouraged and worried that it will never happen again.

Looking for some piece of mind. ~ Thank you

Seriously? Let me guess, you think stress causes infertility, too.
