Trying to Get Pregnant

Is it all in my head or am I pregnant?

Alright so I'm on CD19 out of a 27 day cycle and for the past couple of days I just haven't felt myself. I've had frequent headaches, a lot of wind, nausea here and there (mostly at night), nipple pain that has only increased as the days go on, super tired all the time (like fell asleep standing up while walking the dog with my husband), I'm thirsty all the time, and just today I've had frequent urination. I'm not sure if its just excitement or I'm honestly pregnant. I just need a second opinion.

Re: Is it all in my head or am I pregnant?

  • Your first opinion should be from a pregnancy test. I suggest the test.

That rhymes. I'm going to make it into some sort of slogan.

  • Take a test. We can't help you figure out if you're pregnant.
  • I forgot to mention, I did take a test yesterday and it was negitive
  • My opinion doesn't matter. All the symptoms in the world don't mean a thing without a positive test...

But what about a negative one? I mean, she could still be pregnant, right? Negative tests don't really mean anything anyways.

I thought the same thing. If gas was an indicator of pregnancy, then I'm KU all the damn time.

  • Unless your hormones are high enough to give you a positive pregnancy test, they also are not high enough to give you pregnancy symptoms. It sure would be nice if there were instant symptoms that were obvious... But since there aren't, save your pennies and don't use a pregnancy test until later in your cycle when it can actually work.
  • Ahhh, I love Monday's!

  • Frequent urination (polyuria), frequent thirst (polydipsia) and fatigue are signs of Diabetes. Maybe you should get tested for that too.

HA! You must be a nurse too because that was my EXACT thought! I was waiting for her to say she has been excessively hungry to add polyphagia to the list and call it a win.

Lol. Not a nurse but I am in medicine. In fact today I am wearing navy scrubs (nurses here wear navy) instead of the standard misty green and several of the med-surg nurses did a double-take this morning when they saw me. "Who is that new girl?"
