Anyone else taking progesterone orally?

I'm 8w3d. I've had a previous Mc, so this time my Dr put me on progesterone pills from week 7 to week 12. These pills have made my pregnancy symtoms so strong that I'm afraid I won't be able to tell if I Mc and have a loss of symptoms. I've had very strong nausea for a couple weeks now, but idk if it's from the pills or my pregnancy. When I miscarried last time I didn't have cramps or bleeding for weeks after the baby died, but the loss of symptoms happened very quickly. My first appointment is August 11, all they've done for me so far was draw blood. I'm just scared and needed to vent. Thanks for listening. :(

    I use suppositories, not oral progesterone, but it does increase my symptoms. Loss of symptoms does not always indicate loss though, so I would not use that as your messure. I am actually 15 w 3d and still taking my progesterone. My symptoms are just starting to get better, but I still have days that my nausea is going strong.

    I know first tri is very stressful, but unfortunately there really isn't much for your doctor to do. Taking progesterone is great, it can only help. I hope the time until you appointment passes quickly for you.

    I take oral progesterone 200mg and did with my daughter and my m/c. The progesterone will not "save" a failing pregnancy.

    I was so sick with my angel baby just like now and miscarried just the same.

    I was so sick with my daughter and I've been holding her in my arms almost two years now :)

    My understanding from maternal fetal medicine is only thing progesterone will help is if you have low progesterone because your corpus luteum isn't making it (before the placenta develops). My Progesterones would have been dangerously low without the med and I wouldn't have been able to sustain DD or this baby.

    Good luck to you. Hang in there. Buy some miralax. ;)

    I am taking 200mg orally as well, I can say the bloating and gas are worst, just now I'm terrified because of the pains I've been having, and I'm sorry to say this :p but whenever the gas is out I kind of feel better, but my back and stomach are killing me, not the lower abdomen but like if I had colitis :(
