So, today---Reese had a complete day with no accidents (so far). We were actually out to lunch and she used the big potty in the public restroom. No insert or anything--I did have to hold her so she didn't fall in.
She peed and pooped on the potty today.
Yesterday was the first time she pooped on it and after she was done, she waddled off to me (pants and underwear still down) and goes: "Mommy, I squeezed the poop out. I was squeezing and it just came out!"
So proud of her.
I thought she would be a lot harder to train because when she was in diapers she had NO interest of using the bathroom at all. None. Wouldn't even sit. Wouldn't tell us if her diaper was wet.
She works (or poops) for gummy bears!
Re: Potty training success! Complete Aww
Although my DS is only 18mo (so still on the way young side for PT), he's not quite able to communicate clearly to us, and he's nowhere near being interested or even aware enough to care when his diaper is wet. So your story is encouraging! Im still thinking we probably won't push until at least 2 1/2 or closer to 3 though.
