Baby Shower Question

So I am hosting a baby shower for my friend tomorrow. I was working on the favors and it was taking a lot longer then I expected and they weren't turning out how I was expecting them to either.

So my question is should I get another favor or would it be ok if I skip the favor?

We didn't have favors at mine, but I don't know the etiquette on that.

The last few I've been to haven't had favors. It doesn't phase me, but it definitely could be different in other places.

I think it depends on the expectations of your guests and the norms for showers in your social circle.

Thanks! Since my idea for favors had to be done at last minute (edible noes that really needed to be made the day before) I really don't have time to figure out something else. If they want a favor I guess I can tell the families(which pretty much all of them are) they can take a pack of crayons since I bought a ton for a project I am having the shower guests help with.

I gave away two macarons in little cellophane bags as favors as my wedding. I feel like that could work for a shower because they come in all of the cute colors (assuming you have a local bakery that sells them).
