Scentsy

So I guess I've lived in a cave until now. I was finally introduced to the world of scentsy today and ended up buying a s**t load of the stuff from my friend. My house no longer smells like sweaty boys and I'm so happy for that :)

Any other scentsy freaks?

Re: Scentsy

  • I've used them. I hate that my bulbs go out ask the time, abs the scents don't last very long. A good day or two is all I can get before I've gotta change it.

They do have really cute designs and scents smell great!

  • A lot of other companies make was melts too that will work in scentsy warmers. And they are by far the cutest warmers I've seen. I know Yankee candle makes wax melts too. I was participating in a craft show today and was behind a scentsy booth. I had a headache ALL day. But she had around 5 different scents going. How is that ever a good idea?
  • I change my wax maybe every couple of weeks, but I turn them off when I'm not home. I have about thirty scents and always enjoy picking out a new smell.
  • I love Yankee candle!

  • I'm not a freak but I have a warmer in my kitchen and use a piece of a bar about once every 2 weeks or when people are coming over.

  • @LaBellaVida‌ I sometimes become accustomed to the scent after a few days but will have friends come over and tell me they can smell it after it's been used for a week or so. Maybe that's the case with yours?

  • I like mine, dont burn it all the time. I am a big fan of partylite, but if I burn those too long (surprise!) I feel it in my lungs, so may do more Scentsy again... no smoke :-)

  • I sell Scentsy lol, I have a warmer in mostly every room. I seem to have good luck with my bulbs, and I find some scents last waaaay longer than others. Most of the time my house smells like cookies when you walk in haha. Everyone get the newborn nursery scent for your nurseries haha (unless you don't like the smell of baby powder lol)

I'm a Scentsy freak! I have a warmer in my bedroom, our entry way , our kitchen until I dropped it off the counter, and an outlet one in each bathroom. I've found that some scents last longer than others but I've never had the issue of them lasting only a few days. A "short scent" for me is maybe two weeks with frequent use. I also refuse to leave them on when I'm gone. I can't use candles anymore because no that I've been a Scentsy user for so long, I find the smell of the flame to overwhelm the smell of the wax.

Let me know if you want some scent recommendations!

Oh- and I've been a Scentsy user for a couple of years now and only had to replace one bulb... You may have a bad warmer.
  • I've gota few warmers and have had to replace the bulbs several times in different ones.
I no longer use them, because I have no bulbs.....

You're right about the scents though, I do have some scents that last a little longer then others.

I'll have to order new bulbs and try it out again.

  • I really like some of their scents! I have 3 and don't burn them all the time, maybe one at a time for a few hours.  If I leave them on too long it gets too intense for me.  I replace the wax about every few weeks.

  • I'm allergic
  • I love scentsy. I've never had my bulbs burn out and I've had the same warmer for more then a year. I have the wall outlet warmers not the larger ones that sit on the counter, maybe that has an affect on how long the bulb lasts. I just got a coconut lemongrass scent and its perfect for summer!
  • I love scentsy! If ran all the time you will have to change out the wax every few weeks, but my bulbs last forever! Have had one for two years and still have not changed! Put your replacement wax in the freezer. If left out in a warm room the oils release.

  • OMG thank you for this thread!! We just moved in FI's grandma's old hutch into our sitting room, and I am totally definitely going to put my Scensty warmer on it now! We need to wash the carpets again bad (just bought the house and the old carpet still smells like piss even after cleaning it once), so this will at least help in the meantime. Woo!
    OMG too many tickers...
