pregnancy pillow

Does anybody use a pregnancy pillow or used one in previous pregnancy? If so which one is your favorite? Been thinking about getting one.

Re: pregnancy pillow

  • I liked my Snoogle but I preferred just using a normal, extra soft pillow.

  • I just bought the Snoogle (it's on sale on Amazon) and I slept amazingly last night :)
  • I used a small wedge pillow that I got from BRU.  DH and I have a queen bed so the Snoogle would have pretty much taken over.  I really liked the wedge, it worked great for supporting my belly without taking up a ton of room and was not expensive.

  • I'm thinking about the snoogle. With my first pregnancy I just positioned pillows the whole way around my body in bed. But poor DH was often without his pillow lol
  • Had a snoogle for my first pregnancy and absolutely loved it... Brought it out again around 7 weeks and I can't imagine sleep without it. Love love love it :) even caught my husband cuddling with it too lol
  • I just use a regular body pillow. I haven't brought it out yet though.

Ditto this. You can probably find on pretty easily now with the dorm stuff out in stores.

  • I just bought a soft body pillow from costco for $12 just to see if I need it. So far I like it for my legs but, we will see once the belly shows up.

  • I used the wedge with my last pregnancy. I've been sleeping with a pillow between my legs but I just can't with just a normal pillow so I thought i'd see about a pregnancy pillow
  • I have a Snoogle, but I never get to use it because it pretty much takes up the whole bed...I only use it when DH is not home.

I have a body pillow sized boppy. It was a gift and I love it, already! It can be used in all different positions.

I expect it might not be supportive enough for the third tri belly, but I'll get a wedge or use a regular pillow in addition to it, if that is the case.

  • I just got the bump nest pillow and it is EVERYTHING! Even DH wants one now!
  • I have a bump nest as well and I LOVE it! It's so soft and it makes sleeping on my side soo much more comfortable. Highly recommend it!
  • I got this micro fiber crescent shaped pillow. That is amazing ! It gives me the best support ever, and it molds to all my curves . Its like slleeping on a cloud.
  • I'm normally a stomach sleeper, but lately sleeping on my stomach has been a little uncomfortable with the pressure I feel in my lower back. My aunt said she used the Snoogle and loved it, so I think I'm going to buy one of those here PDQ. I can fall alseep on my side, but I almost always wake up on my back. I am hoping the Snoogle helps me stay off my back and more on my sides.

  • I know a lot of people who used the Snoogle but it was way too big for me (i'm 5'1). I just used an extra regular pillow at night.. i actually got into the happy of sort of snuggling with one even after I was pregnant.

  • I have a Snoogle and it is the best thing ever. I could kiss whoever created it!
  • I got my Snoogle about two weeks ago and it was the best investment thus far!  So comfy and supportive!  I'm 5'4", DH is 6'3" and we have a Cal King and there is plenty of room.

I borrowed a Snoogle last pregnancy and it was pretty amazing. It took up the whole bed, but oh well. Poor DH. I had to give it back and really want to buy one this time, but I'm cheap. I have a regular body pillow and will try that before I buy anything. So far I'm doing okay with out anything.

  • I initially bought the Snoogle from BRU. I tried it for 10 minutes and hated it. It fit me weird and was not as soft as I had hoped. I returned it and ended up buying the Leachoco Back 'N Belly Contoured Body Pillow from Amazon (Prime). It was the best $65 I have spent. I sleep so much better since using it.
