DS is a big brother!

Hey guys! I had my daughter 2 days ago...DS is officially a big brother now! We are all home, resting and adjusting to our new normal. DS is only bothered by DD when she cries, we are hearing lots of "why baby sister crying?" from him. He's being spoiled rotten by his grandparents and all the new toys he's received have actually been a godsend in keeping him occupied during this tiring transition. DS seems absolutely huge in comparison to DD, it's crazy to me. I posted my birth story on my BMB (https://forums.thebump.com/discussion/12402153/nora-s-water-birth-story-lindslalala#latest ) if any of you care to read it. Here's a pic of both my babies :)

    Congratulations! Nora is absolutely beautiful. I loved your birth story. Call me a total sap, or just crazy pregnancy hormones, but it made me tear up when you talked about leaving your dd. That is my biggest fear about going into labor is leaving dd. Once again congrats!

    @kaleb87‌ I had a hard time leaving DD. I was really thankful my water broke after she was in bed or I don't think I would have left the house!

    It was so so hard. I was sobbing, but trying to keep it together so I could talk to him. I just kept reminding myself that he was with people who loved him and that he loves. And that having a sibling is the best thing for him in the long run. Still doesn't make it easy though.

    Congratulations!!  She is absolutely beautiful!  Also teared up at your description of leaving your DS - I'm already worried about that part!  Glad you are feeling good and hope for your recovery to continue to be smooth.
