Feeling sick

I'm just curious, have any of you ladies felt sick prior to going into labor? As if you were about to get the flu?

With my first pregnancy i was induced, so I wouldnt know.

  • It could be a sign. Or, unfortunately, you might be getting the flu. I had to go to the hospital this week because of the flu, as I spent a whole day vomitting and was worried about deshydration. The doctor said the flu was very common at the end of the third trimester, because we're so tired and our bodies are exhausted.

Crossing my fingers you're about to go into labor and that you're not about to get sick, if you're far enough along for baby to be born without complications!

  • Not to be debbie downer but I was sick ALL day yesterday and felt like junk all week. Today, oddly enough, I feel great for the first time in so long! Who knows though. Everyone is different! Hopefully for you it is good news (baby!) and not the flu!

  • I'm 39 weeks. Hopefully this is a sign, it would really suck if I got sick right now.
  • I was feeling feverish and all around off for the last two days. Turns out I was starting a cold. In the middle of the summer too *sigh*. It would be well worth it if it were a baby sign (fx!!).
