I am really sorry this happened to you. Sexual harassment is not cool at all. Is there an HR department by chance? Or an office manager you can speak with? It seems like your boss is taking this seriously, which is a good sign. Please don't let this go. If no one calls you to follow up, please consider legal action.
No I wish they were. I wrote down the convo before I left but know it will come down to my word vs. his. We do have the record that he called from an outside line.
Lurker. Holy Crap! Did they just send you home without asking any questions? Documenting anything? At minimum they should have taken your statement and had both you and boss and HR (if you have it) sign it. Did they ask for your transcript of the call? If they didn't do these things I would immediatly be on the phone with a lawyer so that they can guide you on what to start doing now to document the situation. Maybe your company will get back with you soon and they were just shocked and didn't know what to do. I hope that is the case.
I get the gist and I'm sorry OP seems to have experienced something awful. I just can't offer any help on something I can't read. And this was the second one deleted today. It's not like everyone agreeing with each other is any new information, yet Hilarity doesn't bother to quote everyone for their redundant contributions. BB got you upset, Hil?
Re: Advice- possible trigger
So you know who made the call? He should be immediately fired.
Yes
Hugs, lady. I've been there.
