Belly Edema?

I was going to wait til TMI Tuesday to bring this up, but I just can't and I'm dying to know if anyone else is dealing with this strange pregnancy side effect. I think it is the weirdest pregnancy thing that I've had so far...maybe I'm just a freak of nature and no one will know what I'm talking about...

My lower belly is retaining fluid (along with my gigantoid feet and ankles). I have stretch marks (unfortunately) all over my belly, but the ones under my belly button are filled with fluid and are squishy to touch -- think water balloon (but not huge or anything). It is seriously freaky to me to feel them and/or look at them. Doctor has said it's fine and not to worry but, they're just so...squishy...

Anyone with me? :-/

I can't say I've ever had that happen. I have noticed that I'm getting way more stretch marks on my upper thighs this time...maybe I've maxed out the number that can fit on my belly.

Don't worry, my stretch marks only on my lower belly have gotten a bit puffy too! Only like 4 of them feel that way, and of course I can't see them but it's probably similar to what you're talking about. Other than that, I'm really not swollen elsewhere, so I don't know why it's happening.

I have just recently gotten stretch marks on my lower belly that kind of feel different than my other stretch marks she all of a sudden has dropped so low in what feels like a day!

No I totally have these too! The deep indents left by the bottom of my seatbelt are very interesting hahaha
