So sorry if this has been posted mobile search is boRken.

So Sharkie is now at bum to shoulder height limit of his infant seat, anyone else switch car seats yet or STMs have a fave? I'm a little bummed because he's not ready to regular stroller it, he has some control but a bit floppy still and I liked the click in with the car seat. Honestly I thought it would last more than 5 months

Ugh round 100 of spending all the monies.

Eta : thanks in advance!

https://www.facebook.com/CarSeatsForTheLittles They do testing and ratings on all the carseatz I have found it helpful. They also post sales and discount codes which is how we bought ours. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00H8MSKAU/ref=redir_mdp_mobile?ref_=pe_385040_30332200_TE_item We got these, they were 119.00, just saw yesterday at target for $200 so I would definitely shop around sales first.
This is the one we bought too. We also waited for it to go on sale for 11 9

We got the Evenflo Triumph LX and use it in DH's car since she can use it now. It was reasonably priced ($160 plus 20% off coupon). We have been happy with it so far and the reviews on it were good. It is pretty large and takes up a lot of space in our sub-compact. LO seems to like it.

Thanks for posting. We're in a similar boat. She will probably be in her infant car seat for another 1-1.5 months. I was just beginning the car seat search again, too.

We have the Britax blvd for my big kid and love it. I bought this lo a Chicco Nextfit when target had that amazing sale and paid $139 for a $279 car seat. We haven't switched her over yet, but everyone who has it, loves it.

Awesome I will definitely keep looking around for sales and add that.  I probably have a month before I have to switch.

    Thanks for all the feedback!

I've been researching bc we NEED to switch. Cam is 20lbs and lugging the infant carrier is getting to be too much!

I have a ConsumerReport membership and the highest rated convertible seat is the Chicco NextFit. Britax comes 2nd and 3rd with the Advocate G4 and Marathon G4!
Not sure if you find that info useful but it's definitely something to keep in mind :)
