You might hate this, but I heard it and I think it's cute and pretty original:

Tadgh (pronounced Tige, like tiger but without the er)

It's old Irish.

    Hmmm, different...there are quite a few really unusual sounding (to my modern day American ears at least, lol) old Irish names.  It's probably not the one, but I really do appreciate the thought!!! :)
