Sick kid help - any guesses?

103.3 fever, irritable, diarrhea, and CLUMSY. Started two days ago, she was falling all over the place and ran into a wall. I thought she was tired bc no other symptoms.

DH said she is really running into walls and falling, plus other symptoms.

Any ideas? My neighbor is a PA and is coming over but he doesn't specialize in kids so I thought id ask here.

    I'm going to guess ear infection, but I'm sure I'm wrong. The clumsiness sounds like it could be an inner ear/balance thing.

    Is she lethargic? That could be the cause of the walking into things. Or maybe an ear infection. Poor w! :(

    I think this is probably it. He took her to the actual doc office which makes me feel better. We will know soon.

    Oh no. Poor W. Glad your H got her in and is getting an answer. Hope the meds kick in quickly and she feels better soon. Hugs mama!

    Oh man, thank you for the well wishes :)

    She has strep and fever went to 104.1 in the dr office. My MIL is coming to stay with her tomorrow, thank goodness.

    Bad news is she went to daycare today and we feel terrible :( she didn't have a fever this morning so we didn't know :(. I hope nobody else gets sick!

    i was going to guess ear infection too. Poor W! She will feel better after she gets some rest over the weekend. Try not to stress, I know it's hard being away.

    That sucks, I'm sorry! Strep is the pits. At least it tends to cure quickly though. We've had great luck with garlic oil easing ear infection pain as well.
