  Gabriel takes either the silicon or laytex slow flow nipple. He hates the orthodontic shaped ones.

  My daughter is 4 months old and we only ever used the medium flow with the small bottles (she's just starting to use the 8 oz, and we use the slow with those).  She'd get exhausted and pass out before she finished the 4 oz bottles with the slow flow, and choked with the rapid flow.

  For a two week old I'd go with the slow flow silicone nipple.  The latex nipps have that rubber stink to them.
