Symptoms and scared

So I'm just over 6 weeks and I'm crossing my fingers that everything is going smoothly so far. I have a small list of symptoms at this time but I'm just not sure what's normal. I am SO exhausted. I'm talking it's hard to wake up after 8 hours of sleep. I'm a nurse and giving up shifts because it's hard to stay awake all day. I have gastric reflux/heartburn on sporadic days. Bloating is pretty intense at times and constipation comes and goes. I don't have ANY morning sickness at all though! I've had nauseous moments but I've not been sick at all. I've had a couple times of crampy feeling but I think it stems from the gas and bloating. Anyone else have advice or anything similar going on?

Re: Symptoms and scared

  • I'm confused what the question is? You're having pregnancy symptoms but not nausea? Count yourself lucky so far.

  • I guess what I'm asking is what is everyone else experiencing. I'm scared to have another miscarriage since I've had one previously. I don't really know what symptoms are normal and what everyone else has gone through. I need some expert advice from other moms to be
  • That all sounds completely normal. And the cramping can be from an expanding uterus too (not just gas and bloating), so don't freak if you just randomly feel light cramping similar to PMS cramps.

The only symptoms to worry about (in terms of miscarrying) are painful cramping and bright red blood.

  • Everyone is different hon. I'm living everyday with MS (mostly just the nausea), bloating, constipation and sore boobs.

Some ladies here have little to no symptoms. (Such lucky ladies) :)

    Just depends.
  • I just barfed 10 minutes ago--I wished for symptoms a couple weeks ago and I'm regretting it now. It sounds like you have plenty of symptoms for 6 weeks. You're still early in your pregnancy.
