Relocating to Louisville

We may be relocating to Louisville for my husbands job.  I have a 10 month old, with plans have more kids in the future, so that being said---  We are looking for a suburb outside of louisville- obviously with good schools and safe neighborhoods.  Any helpful suggestions?

    Louisville is a great place to live and raise kids. My best recommendations are all suburbs, some within the city limits that are very safe and great neighborhoods with good schools. Anything in the east end of Louisville, near Ballard high school. The St Matthews and Lyndon areas are great, Highlands is old-school but awesome (somewhat pricey). Middletown is just outside Louisville, but within the metro and has great schools and neighborhoods. I would probably avoid the shivley, PRP, west-end and south-end areas, personally though I am sure there are good neighborh

    We have just moved to the Middletown area, and so far we love it. There are a lot of nice areas here on the north east side.
