8 weeks 4 days losing symptoms?

So maybe I'm being paranoid.. But... My boobs don't feel as gigantic and sore today, my morning sickness isn't bad anymore, and my back doesn't hurt as bad. I've miscarried once this year and I am so scared I'm going to again. I'm not bleeding or cramping but still, my symptoms are going Away.... Should I call my midwife or do I have nothing to worry about??

  • Nothing to worry about.

Except maybe being "8 weeks for days."

  • It's normal for symptoms to come and go.

  • You can go ahead and call, but most likely she may just have you monitor for any severe cramps or bleeding. She may also have you come in and do a test on your levels. If it will ease your mind, just get her opinion.

Lol I saw that and fixed it! Blame it on baby brain!

  • I am 7 weeks 2 days and I had horrible morning sickness starting at about 5 weeks, but it's pretty much gone now. I'm not worried, I'm thankful I can eat and not hurl ten minutes later. This is my first pregnancy, so I don't really know what to expect, or what's "normal," but from what've I've read and been told there isn't really a "normal" because everyone is different and every pregnancy is different. I agree that you should do whatever you feel would ease your mind, and if calling your midwife is what will make you feel better then do it. :)

    Good luck!

  • Your body is going to go through cycles of acclimating to your hormonal levels, and then losing control of them again. I try to think of it kind of like going through puberty, since it's a similar "hormones going crazy" time. You didn't have bad breakouts or mood swings every day as a teenager- they would kind of come and go, and pregnancy symptoms are similar.

  • Hugs mama! Having had a loss where my symptoms dissapeared I know how hard it can be not to drive yourself crazy with anxiety. However these ladies are right, symptoms come and go and odds are everything is perfectly fine. Have you had an us yet? Maybe you can call your ob/mw to schedule to ease your mind

  • I am 8 weeks and 4 days as well! I have noticed mine come and go! Just about the time I get excited I can eat whatever they come back full force..
  • At this stage, your placenta is starting to take on some of the hormone load, so lessening symptoms is fairly normal. From what I've read, that is.
  • Totally normal! This is my second pregnancy and so far, like my first. I've had no symptoms at all! And I have a healthy 16 month old napping peacefully right now!
  • Totally normal.  I'm sure they'll come back in a day or two. My vary from day to day drastically!

  • I'm 8w3d and I have virtually no symptoms and haven't had any since I found out. I actually took another pregnancy just to see if I was still pregnant and it was a very definitive yes. I have an OB appt on Wed where we are hoping to hear a heartbeat and make sure everything is on track.

I'm just going with it since I have no evidence to refute my pregnant status. :)
