We have the jj cole nappy bag. I havnt used it yet as I'll be a FTM but it looks like it will be amazing it has so much space, stroller clips, so many pockets and I think it looks super cute
I had a jujube be all the first time around. It's amazing quality and very functional. Second time I had a timi and leslie Charlie bag. It's big and more fashionable but way less practical in all areas than the jujube (which I had sold.) I ended up just using my Louis Vuitton Totally MM bag which is spacious and nice looking but obvs not actually a diaper bag. My top recommendation will always be the jujube diaper bag if what you are looking for is an actual practical durable diaper bag.
I have a juju be be all, which is alright. I find it a prefect size for a small outing. It's heavy though when it's empty ( all ju ju be diaper bags are) so add stuff to it, it only gets heavier. I agree though ^^^ (shocking) that it's a great quality.
I've also used my LV never full. Again, not a diaper bag, but it works great.
I'm currently using a Petunia pickelbottom weekender bag. It's huge, but holds everything!
In have a Vera Bradley & love it. It washes easily & has tons of pockets and compartments. This time I'm going to add a juju be bff to the mix. I like how it zips down further so the big bag part isn't a hole if that makes sense.
I'm looking to get a petunia pickle bottom bag (puke to that name tho). I never take care of any of my diaper bags/purses and they never last long. Maybe this time it'll be different!
Petunia Pickle Bottom boxy backpack. I will be making mine like their, just with cuter fabric and quite possibly more pockets. You can never have too many pocket in a diaper bag.
I lovey Scout Pocket Rocket. It has a ton of pockets and it is easily washed and it has two different length straps, and it zips up. Oh, and it's inexpensive!
This is the one I like but I'm a ftm but I read a lot of good reviews. My only hang up is the price. Seems kinda high for a diaper bag! But I guess you get what you pay for!
Jujube bags hold their value pretty well so if you resell it after you can probably get a decent price for it!
Another vote for Juju Be. I have the BFF. It's not too large, and I like that I can use it as a back pack. It's large enough to accommodate the daily necessities without being bulky.
We had a Skip Hop which completely fell apart after a few months. I also used a Burberry bag for a bit, but it was way more fashion over function.
Question: For those with male partners, does he use the same diaper bag or does he have his own?
I don't think DH cares if the bag is feminine but it does seem a little over the top in that respect. I figured the easiest thing would be to find a neutral bag we both like so we're not switching things out--are there any reasons to have more than one bag?
Have any of you tried any of the Diaper Dude bags? They seem pretty practical except I'm wondering about the messenger style (across the body strap). Would it be uncomfortable on engorged milk boobs or get in the way of wrapped baby (when applicable)? Or, maybe the bag will still hang fine on one shoulder the way my timbuk2 bag does?
Forgive my over-thinking and FTM obliviousness! Thanks for all the help!
My husband never carried the bag so it was all about what i wanted, i got a cute skip hop duo with my first for a great price at winners not to bulky, this time around my mom got me a great condition Juju Be but i've yet to use it, but its cute! though with two kids im seriously debating just using a backpack lol
I got DH the SF Giants diaper dude bag. He's easy but he loves it. I wouldn't use one only because I'm the type that carries everything but the kitchen sink :-)
I'm getting a jujube be right back backpack and my husband is fine carrying it. I think he probably wouldn't notice if it was girly or not. He'll be too entranced by the baby.

Which VB bag do you have, do you know? I am looking at the VB Baby Bag now.
And is the ju ju be bff the one that you're saying zips down further and isn't a big hole?
DH got a Diaper Dude bag as a gift but he never really carried it. I used it a lot when DS was really little and liked it more than my Vera Bradley diaper bag. At around 1 year or so, I got in the habit of just throwing the necessities (diaper, wipes, a snack, etc.) in my purse so it's been awhile since I carried a real diaper bag.
We originally got the Skip Hop bag in all black so we could both carry it, but he didn't care what the bag looked like, so I picked out one I liked this time.
He carries the Juju Be. He really could care less about the look of it, honestly. He likes to keep the bag organized and to be prepared when he's out with her, so he just carries what I do. FWIW the pattern is silver ice. Not overly masculine.

That's the one I have! I absolutely love it! And yes, the jujube bff zips down further down the front. And flaps open
My hubby LOVES clothes and man gear ha, so he is all about this bag by Jack Spade (of Jack and Kate Spade). Awesome bag he can use for work/travel beyond baby years:

I have heard good things about it. I will check out at target and try it to see how it feels before I buy or order one.

Great bag! We have a Jack Spade Dad Bag and it's small but great for my husband who just wants a place for a couple diapers and bottles.
