Ameda pump PSA

I'm in a FB lactation support group and one of the LCs is a conference. The Ameda rep told her that a huge batch of pumps that went out through insurance have a faulty valve. If your Ameda pump isn't working properly call the company ASAP! And don't let them give you the run around.

I hope to create a real siggy but first I need some sleep!

Thanks - I keep saying I need to call them since I need to be on full pressure in order to get anything out.
When I used my friend's Ameda, I definitely didn't need it so strong.

  • I need to get on this.

  • I called ten minutes before their hours ended and they are sending me a new motor. I hope it works better, although I bought a medela months ago.

  • I have a different brand but if they really had such a problem, they should have proactively reached out to moms. Breastfeeding is supply and demand. If this were my pump and it affected my supply and ability to BF, I would be SO PISSED and possibly contacting an attorney.
