  You are 28 weeks pregnant and in 3rd tri. Baby is running out of room, so you are going to feel jabs while baby is trying to get comfortable.

  They have spasms because they're not very coordinated. Also could be hiccups.

  This.  With my second, who was very active, sometimes my whole belly would shiver and shake.  It definitely felt like a seizure in there.  But the truth is, they don't really have much in the way of motor skills, so they're just kind of spastic when they're moving around.
