  Hahahaha... then add another one, and you'll never see the floor again.

  I think I'm doing ok.  I usually have one clean surface at a time.  Living room floor or kitchen counters or bedroom floors... but never all of them at once. 

  That being said... I did have a much cleaner house when I wasn't working... but I wasn't pregnant either.  :P  Our major problem is that our house is so small you can't do anything after the kids go to bed.  Our master bedroom is right off the kitchen, and there's a 5ft hallway with the girls' rooms right there.  So unless the dishes are washed and put away prior to bed time (7:30), it ain't going to happen.

  It'll be worse once we move the girls in together - we're going to put them in our bedroom, and we will move into Marnie's room.  Marnie's room is right next to the back door, and the window is a ground-floor window.  Our bedroom is further away, and they're second story windows.  It just seems safer to put them further away.

  Lord, sometimes I wish we had a multi-level house... but then again it's way easier to tend a crying baby when it's a short walk from the living room.

  So many conflicted feelings.......

  Look how this turned into a pity rant. hah.  Overwhelmed potato lately.

  I worked until my first was 15 months.  My house was spotless compared to today.  I even let go our cleaners who came twice a month because they weren't doing a great job.  If the kids aren't home during the day, there is less mess made.  Now, i'm home and the house is a disaster.  My oldest stopped napping regularly before 2 and I have a one year old.  Heck no.  Place is a disaster.  Glad my husband doesn't feel like it has to be spotless.  He sometimes sheepishly tells me when he needs the whites done for his undershirts for work, but definitely no pressure there.

  As a teacher, I get to experience both sahm in the summer and working mom during the year. In my experience, working has been so much easier. Staying at home is extremely difficult! It is the hardest job I have ever had.
