Formula weaning?

Question for moms who have weaned from formula. J is still drinking at least 3 bottles a day. We give her water in her sippy cup and sometimes juice. We were giving her whole milk but stopped cause she was getting backed up. DH and I honestly don't know the best way to start weaning from formula. We were going to try mixing formula and milk in her bottle and slowing increasing the milk, but aren't sure. Any ideas would be super helpful.

Thanks ladies, that helps a lot. May be a stupid question but when mixing the formula and milk, do you use the milk in place of the water for mixing the bottles or mix up formula and water then mix it with milk?

Ok great. We will try this now. With her getting ready to start daycare, I'm trying to get everything in order.

@Ryanswifey619‌, it is definitely an adjustment on the tummy. Stay away from other dairy, carbs, bananas, and other binding foods. Start incorporating peaches, pears, prunes, avocados, and other loosening foods into every meal. This should help. If not, Kelly recommended adding a little bit if prune juice to the bottle. Check with her for the amount.
