But for real, everyone has different opinions and bodies, so it's whatever works for you. The pill is probably most effective, but some people can't take that (I do), or don't take it correctly.
Yay, a rando stranger's first post to use us as their personal Google--my favorite!
Also, I'm not sure we are the best place to ask, as we are not entirely invested in birth control at the moment nor, probably, were we for at least a short time prior to showing up here.
If you only want an opinion, mine is birth control pills. I took varying brands of them for nearly 15 years without any gaps. I never got pregnant while taking them and had very few, mild side effects. It only took a few months for me to get pregnant after stopping them too. After my baby arrives, I will either go back on the pill or get an IUD. I need to talk to my doctor before I make that decision.
Several forms are pretty effective (95% or higher if used properly). Our birth control decision post baby #1 was tied to the fact that I was breast feeding. I had a brief conversation with my care providers a month or two before I was due and we went over some of the common options. I made my final decision right before my 6 week PP appointment as that is typically when you'll start the pill or have a device implanted (IUD or implantable). My suggestion is to talk with your care provider as s/he will be able to offer you the options that will be most effective in your situation.

If the woman is on top during sex, it is impossible to get pregnant...due to gravity.

So that's why it took us so long! Lol.
BTW if you had known how hard it was to get knocked up, wouldn't you have whored it up a little more when you were younger? I mean, let's be honest.
No. You see, if you do not want to get pregnant you are super fertile and can get pregnant very easy. However, if you want to get pregnant it is challenging or in some cases nearly impossible.
I know so many people that got pregnant on accident and so many people that struggled to get pregnant when they wanted to.
We tried for so long without success I personally plan on never using birth control again. If we manage to conceive a second on I will worry about it after the second. For now I'm just enjoying our miracle baby
