A little t.v. for the nursery. My parents bought us an amazing glider for the nursery, and I intend to spend a lot of time in there, esp. while nursing. While of course, I'll be interacting with my little one a lot, but I convinced DH that I need a t.v. in there too. It's going to be small and out of the way on a shelf, not a huge one mounted on the wall.
Flame away...
Re: Guess what I'm buying today? (Flameworthy)
I spend an extra $17 per month to have a second DVR box in my bedroom, because I watch so much TV that there are nights when I have to tape 4 shows at once.
I would never, never, never begrudge anyone their TV.
Nice! I don't know if we will be able to fit a glider in our nursery.
I thought we were going to be able to, but once we got the crib, I am not so sure...
You are a lucky girl!
After 4 years, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs our surprise miracle is here!

It's your nursery, not ours. You know what you do and don't need, and it's not like you're going to sit your child in front of it all day, every day. It's your family, so you do what you need to do.
I'm def. not close to having to make that same decision, but I may make the same choice when I'm in your shoes! Good luck to you. :-)
I couldn't make it though the sleepless nights without Nick at Nite. So, yeah, both girls have "grown up" watching Fresh Prince and Roseanne at 3am.
No flames here.
Wow, times have changed! The only things on at 3AM used to by Infomercials and MASH. When I was a kid having a sleepless night anyway.
I am really hoping to get one for our nursery when we finally get pg. No flames here.
