  This is a good idea!
  
  I'm thankful for good friends.  I've been having a rough time with this whole parenting thing lately and in the past week, my best friend (who lives in FL) has sent me a beautiful, motivating card with a Starbucks gift card attached and another local friend stopped by for a visit with my favorite cupcakes from our town's bakery.  Doesn't make the parenting gig any easier, but definitely helps to know that people care.
  
  I'm also super thankful for the fact that I'm getting a girls' night out tomorrow night and H is going to take care of the boys all night.  Dinner and drinks with my group of friends from work... I can't wait to put on something other than yoga pants!

  I am thankful for my parents. over the years they have bailed me out of a lot of financial crap and yesterday they just paid a huge chunk of Bennett's hospital bills.
  
  I am also thankful for my grandma who also paid a portion of Bennett's hospital bills and her gift when he was born is that she will be buying all of his diapers for the first year. amazing lady!

  I'm thankful for our amazing neighbors! They help walk our dog and offer support whenever needed. In the early weeks when I couldn't drive or do a whole lot, she would bring me coffee every morning. While we don't do it every day anymore, I'm thankful for her morning texts letting me know they are around if I need anything.

  I'm thankful for Target! Sure, I am thankful for LO and DH and my family, but Target is my own little escape! Even if I have DD with me, it's like she knows that Target is mommy's place and she turns into a quiet, sleeping angel!

  Today, I'm thankful for diapers that hold large messes in when LO is sitting on me.

  For our recreation department's summer camp program. They have a special one for kids with nut allergies. Both kids have gone for most of the month. It is m-f 9-2:30 and cost only $55 for the entire month. There are school teachers in each class and have little trips that are local and age appropriate. It's given me some time to bond with baby and some time to catch the occasional nap. Best of all, my kids are well entertained and taken care of while mommy is exhausted and unable to always do stuff with them. I am sad that it ends next week.

  I'm thankful for DH, he's been amazing with everything and he's such a great husband and father. Most couples would probably be ready to kill each other after 6 weeks of being in each others company 24/7, but DH has to go back to work tomorrow and I'm really going to miss him (and not just his help with DD).

  I'm thankful for my cat and that she is okay. This morning DH and I were finishing the nursery on the third floor and our cat was hanging out in the open window leaning against the screen. All of a sudden the screen gave out and she fell three stories and landed on grass. Immediately she got up a ran away. I was devastated and after thirty minutes of looking and not seeing her I was in tears and sure she was gone forever. Finally I walked around the last townhouse in our row and she meowed at me from under our neighbors bushes! I had LO in the k'tan so I called to DH and he crawled under the bushes and got her out. She was terrified and muddy but safe! I'm so glad! Now we are loving on her and filling her up with treats :-)

  I'm thankful for my wonderful friends who have brought us lunches and dinners because I honestly have struggled to get food on the table most days. I'm also thankful for Amazon prime making my life a thousand times easier.

  I'm thankful for technology. I'm so glad skype and FaceTime exist. Not only can LO see her grandparents and aunts and uncles, we've been blessed to be able to skype with DH 4 times since his deployment started. Makes it easier on the three of us knowing he still gets to see her.

  I am thankful for my recliner since i spend way too much on it while LO sleeps on me. Also thankful for technology so I am not bored out of my mind while i sit on my recliner!
  
  On a more serious note, i am thankful for my friend who came over to "play" with the baby so DH and I could finish dinner without feeling rushed since LO is always fussy in the evening and wants to be held while we eat.
  
  I am thankful for my parents since i now know how tired they were raising me!

  @mrsdbc‌ I 2nd the laugh about explosions except our DDs was all over DH and we were both cracking up. Oh..nevermind I was laughing and he was saying stop taking pictures and help me out here! Hehe. Still I am thankful for the ability to see the comedy in poop!

  I am thankful for DH, my home, my animals, technology so that my family gets to see LO and for rain. I love the soothing sound of rain and how a good warm rain smells like worms

  I'm thankful for my parents. They've done so much for my sisters and I our whole lives. I'm thankful they're working on their marriage.
