I lived in foxboro for a while. You are not too far from the outlets in Wretham. IMO patriots place is not the best shopping...its more for night life.
Boston is like 40 minutes from Foxboro even though I do like to shop on Newbury st. Since it's summer I would second the wrentham outlets. My favorite movie theatre is behind Gillette, lux level is the shit.

How's the prices? Outlets here tend to be all name brand stuff and still pricey!
We are meeting our cousins there as well, they have 3 girls (11yr old twins and a 7yr old) Any recommendations on something we should do with them?
I think the prices are pretty good. I like carters the best and that Hanna store with the Swedish (I think clothes)
There are tons of pick your own farms in this area. Blueberries, raspberries, blackberries and peaches are all in season. That is a fun and not too expensive family outing.
Also behind the bass pro shop at patriot place is a nature walk through a cranberry bog. It's not huge, but if you need to get out of the hotel it would be fun. And the bass pro shop has an amazing fish tank!
Definitely agree with wrenthem outlets. Also Foxboro is about 20 minutes from north Attleboro and emerald square mall. There are a bunch of other stores on the same road that are good
