Symptoms at 6 weeks

I am 6 weeks along as of today and am noticing the symptoms I was having, sore boobs, tiredness and such have gotten better. I also am not experiencing morning sickness...am I just lucky so far? It's hard to believe without having an ultrasound done yet that I am really pregnant, almost like a dream come true, however the symptoms I was having made it seem more real...other then the positive pregnancy test and missed period of course;) Does anyone else feel like they have been really lucky or may there be something more going on with me? I do have mild cramping everyday which I heard is normal but no bleeding thankfully!

Re: Symptoms at 6 weeks

  • Symptoms come and go and vary from person to person and day to day. I wouldn't worry.

The pregnancy symptoms listed in books and on web sites are symptoms you may or may not experience. Some people get every symptom while some people get none or only a few. I personally have/had very few symptoms and often don't "feel" pregnant. Symptoms can also vary from day to day. If the pregnancy test says pregnant, then you are pregnant.  Good Luck! Be thankful that you seem to be having a easy pregnancy so far.

  • I really haven't had any symptoms. I figure as long as I'm not bleeding, then I'm fine. My first appointment isn't until 8/12 and I will drive myself crazy if I think about every symptom I'm not having. I'm going to be positive and assume everything is fine unless my doctor says otherwise.

  • I'm 6 weeks 4 days and am exactly the same as you. Only symptoms have been a slight dull cramping (like I'm about to get my period) and sore boobs. I'm not tired, no morning sickness, food issues, cravings. So I also feel like I'm not doing it right!! It makes the whole thing feel unreal and I keep wanting to take a pregnancy test to confirm it's still there!

  • I'm 6w4d and have had lots of MS and fatigue. But it's true, it's day by day - yesterday I didn't have any symptoms - today MS is back. :-S

  • Every person is different. I am 6w6d and I have had almost every symptom, and my MS is the worst. (Today was the first day of not just nausea, so enjoy that you don't have MS)

My poor DH is just sitting by and doesn't know how to help either.
  • I know exactly how you feel. Thankfully the dollar store sells PT for $1. I have some mild nausea, sore boobs and fatigue, but nothing monumental. No vomiting or anything. My doctors appt is on Monday and I am so anxious! Don't worry, if you got a PPT you are pregnant and if anything has happened you would know it.
  • I'm 6w1d and not having many symptoms either, mostly just sore boobs. On one hand, I'm glad I feel good, but on the other I'm worried maybe something is wrong. I just keep telling myself that what I'm experiencing is normal, symptoms can come and go, and everyone has a different experience.
