GTKY: What was the last book you read? Did you like it?
Re: **Wednesday Ticker Change**
How are you feeling? Symptoms? Pretty much same old same old. Having a much better week than last week. Last night I had this weird pain in my back and the sides of my abdomen. I couldn't get comfortable in any position. I thought that I might have to have DH take me to the hospital because I was worried about it being PTL even though it was pretty constant. But, after an hour it just slowly went away. Otherwise, just battling daily heartburn.
Any appointments coming up? Anything you need T&P for? I had a good appointment on Monday. Everything looked pretty good. Tomorrow I am going to do my glucose test. Yuck. I'm also so on edge about Lilly's movements. Some days she's very active and I don't worry as much, but some days she is more lazy. I still feel her every hour or so and she always moves within the time specified by my doctor, I just think I'm so focused on it that I can't relax.
GTKY: What was the last book you read? Did you like it? I finished reading "The Storyteller" by Jodi Picoult last night. I have to say that I liked it, or at least found it intriguing enough to finish it in just a couple of days (it's 460 pages). It's historical fiction about the Holocaust so some parts were pretty graphic and hard to read. The ending was a bit odd to me. But, overall I'd say it's worth reading if you are emotionally able to.

PAL January Siggy Challenge: Good Advice
How are you feeling? Symptoms? I feel great, actually. No real symptoms to speak of other than an increase in vag discharge and sex drive (aren't you all happy to know that?). I'm still not sure if what I'm feeling is little baby kicks or my uterus continuing to grow. I look forward to the day that I can say "that was definitely a sucker punch to the gut from the baby".
Any appointments coming up? Anything you need T&P for? Everything looked great at my A/S on Friday, and my next midwife appointment isn't until early August. She doesn't want me using my doppler but once a week
GTKY: What was the last book you read? Did you like it? Trying to remember... I think the last book I read was Clan of the Cave Bear (yes, yes, it's a middle-school level book, and many of you probably read it AGES ago!) and I really enjoyed it. So much so that I downloaded the next one (Valley of the Horses) but I haven't started reading that one yet.

How are you feeling? Symptoms?
still tired and *new!* sleeping really poorly now and having trouble being productive during the day thanks to the lovely joint-loosening effects of progesterone (i think?). my sleep had a lovely two-week respite between having these issues and the up-several-times-a-night-to-pee thing let up. i have SI joint issues on the left side anyway that flare up if i've been on my feet too long, but all the side-sleeping i have to do now has been bothering it to the point that i wake up with it bothering me already. i've been toughing it out ok though. there are definitely worse things in life. it's for a good cause. lol
Any appointments coming up? Anything you need T&P for?
nope and nope. three weeks from my next appointment, six from our a/s, and the doppler plus feeling movement have been easing my fears. i'm tentatively hoping that my PgAL brain is in remission.
GTKY: What was the last book you read? Did you like it?
1984, because SO encouraged me to, since i never had to read it in high school. i get all the intellectual points, but OMG what a depressing book. parts of it were hard to get through too. dammit, i'm done school. i want to read to be entertained, not to think! lol. (that's not entirely true. i'm just tired. haha)

@mmheartspb - i think you're next in line to be half-baked! good luck with your 2T screen!
@carlsonbaby2014 - yay half-baked! and MINION!!!!!!!! DS is obsessed with minions. i made him a costume for halloween last year, and he has a backpack and underwear. i also tease SO about it because "dave" is one of the recurring character minions and that's SO's name. T&P that you can make it through to your next appointment without too much worry! re: the clan of the cave bear series...they're good books, but after the first one they get progressively more soapy, lol. i haven't read the most recent one yet.
edit: typos

@carlsonbaby2014 Woohoo half-baked!! I couldn't quite tell what I was feeling at 20 weeks either. For me, I started getting these weird muscle spasm type feelings every once in a while. That turned out to be the baby! I also have this strange roller-coaster, stomach dropping feeling when she rolls over. Hopefully, you'll be able to keep calm and that baby's movement will help ease some anxiety between now and your next appointment. I honestly have never read Clan of the Cave Bear. However, I do love to read young adult fiction from time to time so no judgement here!
@longcat07 I'm sorry you're having so much trouble sleeping. It seems to be pretty par for the course, but it still sucks. I try to take a cat nap in the afternoons which seems to be keeping me somewhat sane. The shorter sleeping time usually means it's uninterrupted and I don't wake up in pain either. I don't know if that is an option for you, though. I'm thinking that the pain probably was GI related. My digestion is all kinds of messed up now. It's pretty awful and DH keeps asking if he can help and I have to tell him no. I don't have the drink, but I'm hoping they keep them cold there. It's gonna be a long morning. :P

How are you feeling? Symptoms? Feeling pretty good for the most part. Sometimes nauseous, but manageable. I'm a little more tired today, hoping that DH didn't give me his cold!
Any appointments coming up? Anything you need T&P for? Nothing soon. I just had an appointment on Friday, and we got to see the heartbeat, such a relief.
GTKY: What was the last book you read? Did you like it? We were just on vacation for two weeks, and I read four or five (easy) books. I can't remember all of the titles, and wasn't particularly impressed with most of them. I did like The Matchmaker (by Elin something), Last Letter to My Lover was decent, Divergent was not great, but an easy read.

Feeling pretty good, Ells was not moving much today so of course I had to check with Doppler and everything is going fine.
I have an appointment on Friday but nothing to fancy... If you have some spare t&p's I could use them for my dog, Gexa. He is a shepherd and is 11 and I know I am very blessed to have had him this long, but he is limping and has a bubble boil type thing on his leg. We are going to the vet on Friday and I am terrified of what they are going to tell me. He just looks old when I look at him. I have always called him my heart on four legs and I am terrified that I will lose him before he gets to meet our daughter. So if you have some for him I would be grateful.
QOTW: I read the room for the Nov 14 book club and it was not the easiest thing to read, nor would I recommend it. But I am listening to Harry Potter to and from work, and I could listen to those all day everyday.. I love Harry Potter!!

@erinel - yay for seeing the HB! reading four or five books on a two-week vacation sounds like heaven.

@erinel FX that you haven't caught your DH's cold! Reading four or five books on a 2 week vacation sounds amazing. Sometimes it's nice to read something easy. I find I often have to take a break between challenging books and will opt to read easy stuff.
@ashris13 I feel you on the movement. Lilly has been a bit quieter the last couple of days. I don't have a doppler so I'm constantly bombarding her with ice water or super cold juice to make her wiggle for me. I'm so sorry that your dog is having a problem with his leg. I'll be keeping you and him in my thoughts and keep us updated on him.
@maryhr1 I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I'll be thinking about you. FX you can hear the hb on your doppler soon!!
