Pregnant after 35

Pregnancy Bloopers

We all have plenty to worry about.  Let's take a moment to laugh at ourselves instead.

A couple of days ago, I was making dinner and the oven timer went off and the sides were ready.  I called my husband down for dinner only to realize I had forgotten to turn on the oven in the first place.

Do you have any recent pregnancy gaffes to share?

  • Today I wrote the wrong city down for where I live on a form. I haven't lived in that city in like 9 yrs.

  • Pregnancy brain has made me forget many an appointment that I've had to start setting an alarm before I'm supposed to be somewhere. Here is the dumbest story I have, though. We have these digital timed parking meters in our town. I put in my credit card to pay and had to scroll down to reduce the selected time. The darn thing would not go lower than 20 hours. All I wanted was one hour! So I raced into the parking services dept of the police station. I told them I was overcharged and their meter was defective. The lady said 'Ma'am, that meter has a 20 minute maximum' OH MAN BabyFruit Ticker
  • These are great.... nice to know we are in the same boat.
While we are laughing at ourselves, I thought I would share this funny.
My friend sent me this link, I had to laugh because we have the same problem with our cat pushing us out of bed - guess to be will have even more competition for bed space too.

  • I think DH has pregnancy brain. He keeps leaving his keys and phone at home. He NEVER forgets them usually.

This morning I put rice in the rice cooker and forgot to push the button to actually start cooking. It just sat there for an hour until I noticed.
  • I was writing my address and I forgot what my zip code was!!! I actually had to Google it.....oh my.
  • This happened to me the other day: I was using Google Maps on my phone, and when I got home I left my phone in its dashboard holder in the car and merrily went into the house. I didn't realize that I'd done that until the next day, about 14 hours later. Never even crossed my mind as to where my phone was and that it had spent the night in the garage.
