Having been experiencing pretty significant pain in my pubic/pelvic/thigh/buttocks for the last month. Was just diagnosed with symphysis pelvic dysfunction. 2 more months until DD. So upset. Anyone going through this?
All of the above, although I haven't tried the donut to sit on....seems like a good idea for work. The support belt helps a ton if you're going to be standing/walking for a bit (grocery shopping, walking the dog etc).
I have a 2 1/2 yr old and had SPD with her and also with this current pregnancy. I needed physical therapy for the first pregnancy but for this one have just been wearing the support belt. If you are in a lot of pain request that you get physical therapy, the exercises that they have you do really help a lot. They also give you a lot of tips about correct body movement so you dont accidentally make the condition worse. Also you can sleep with the belt on and that seems to help with pain at night.
YES! And I am so sorry you are experiencing this, I know how excruciating the pain can be! I had SPD during my first pregnancy. I went to a PT and these are the exercises we did (and they helped) :
