Can't put her down!

Tell me it's a phase. Brooke is 10 w and all she wants to do is be held! I love our snuggle time and she's an excellent nighttime sleeper in her crib for a 6/7 hour stretch but the days are another story! I can get her in to a deep sleep (even wait 25 minutes) and she still wakes the second I put her down! I wear her sometimes but she's only content in that for 30-40 minute stretches. Anyone else going through this???

Re: Can't put her down!

  • We did, but not as severely. He mostly did cat naps which is unusual for him and wanted to be held. All.the.time.

I'm blaming it on a wonder week--- for the last two days he's been back to "normal".

  • I'm in exactly the same boat for the last few days with dd. She's 9 weeks today.

  • Yep same boat here started end of last week at 11 weeks and still continuing. Unfortunately it continued through the night last night, and that's not his normal he usually sleeps pretty good in his pnp at night.
  • Same here. Leap 3 started yesterday and she's been very cuddly and fussier during the day. Still sleeping well at night, so far.
  • Same here!!! Adyson is 11 weeks today and she's been a bear all week. You have to hold and bounce or sway her; absolutely no sitting down. She went from sleeping 7 hrs at night to waking up after 4 then every 2 after that. After getting a good nights sleep it's hard to have that taken away again! I can't wait for this phase to be over!!!
  • Yep and yep. I'm with you. DD is 9 wks tomorrow. Last night she only did 2.5-3 hr stretches bin ate as of her normal 3.5-4.
  • We are 11.5 weeks and in the same boat. Last week she was napping in the swing/bouncer and sleeping nearly 7hr stretches at the start of bedtime. Now she's going 4 and then every 2-3 after that. It's SO hard going backwards! Hoping that it's just a short lived phase!
  • Ya B went from sleeping 7-4 from 3-7 weeks and is now 9-2 on a good night! What a tease!
