I think DH is still in a little bit of denial that we're having a baby. He claims not to be, but I know it hasn't fully sunk in for him. I think I've been stressing him out too with my fatigue, extra neediness, and crankiness. He's been a champ. I hope he can keep it up. My mom thinks my pregnancy is her news and keeps trying to spill the beans. A friend of mine keeps asking if I've had a 'blood test' done. As though BFP urine tests plus lack of AF aren't enough indications.
We are 28w 2d- due date 10/13.

Our son is 33 mo now- will turn 3 right after little brother is born. Our puppy is 4 mo and is a super cute PITA.

Nope- I took my GD test last Monday and haven't heard from my midwives, which leads me to believe that I passed b/c they tend to only call when there is a problem. I'm going to the dentist next week, which usually isn't a big deal, but I'm a little worried that they'll say that I have gingivitis and need perio work

My DH finally realized how much of a physical toll third trimester is taking on me. I had been pretty peppy up until a few weeks ago, so it took him a bit to catch on to the new phase.
My dog is my shadow. She totally knows something's up. It's really sweet.

ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive. Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

We haven't told the children since a couple of them took it really hard when I lost the last one. DH is less than understanding about my fatigue but I think some of that is that we aren't talking about it as much since the kids don't know. My oldest loves to point out that I am fat though. Either she knows or she is going to get an earful when I tell her LOL

4) How are you feeling? Actually, really good. Scared about potential morning sickness which still hasn't surfaced.

QOTW: How are your SO, kids, pets, and other loved ones handling this stage of your pregnancy? SO is super excited, DS doesn't know yet (waiting until sonogram), Loved ones (just parents right now) are super excited and supported. We are shocked at how quickly this happened for us.

4) How are you feeling? Tired, but not as bad past few days because I've been making myself go to bed earlier, so getting more sleep and boobs hurt most of the time. Was having some cramping last week, got a little worried, but I guess that's just the uterus growing?
5) Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? I waited to post until today b/c yesterday was my early ultrasound appointment, had to do vaginal U/S, but saw baby (tiny!!) and heard the heartbeat, 120bpm!! I have 'nurse's talk' next Thursday and first official OB appointment on Aug 5th (even though we saw her yesterday) - she said as of right now, everything is perfectly normal, so was a huge relief after last year's loss!
QOTW: How are your SO, kids, pets, and other loved ones handling this stage of your pregnancy? My not-very-emotional SO is actually quite excited, more in that he wanted to scan in the little U/S photo and send to his mom, I guess it's finally real now after seeing/hearing the baby.

4) How are you feeling? Had a wicked headache yesterday, but much better today--it's a lot cooler outside, which helps.
5) Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? Had a good appointment yesterday, with my monthly growth ultrasound. Baby is in the 59% for growth and looks cute in there. Blood pressure is good, weight is good, stress level is bad, but I am coping. Next appointment is in 2 weeks, and the dreaded glucose test is in 3 weeks. Time is flying so quickly!
Me: 42, DH: 40; Surprise BFP 4/27/2011; no heartbeat at 9w3d, we miss you, Baby Manatee; D&C 6/1/2011; AF returned 6/26/2011; Ready to try for our take-home baby. 7/24/2011--BFP! Peanut born March 2012; BFP: 7/31/2013!; blighted ovum at 7 weeks 8/26/2013. Holy Cannoli! BFP 2/23/2014. EDD 11/6/2014!

5) Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? Just had my first appt with my new OB after the hotline crisis of 2014. (I ranted about this a couple wks ago) They did an u/s and moved my due date from 1/19 to 1/16. YAY! and we *think* our baby is a boy. Will find out next month for sure.

Everyone is so excited! The last "baby" in the family was 5 years ago. And this is my DH's first....he is beyond thrilled, as well as DD. She says hi to the baby every day before me!!!
