Why not? A MN poll

Since it's apparently the day for clicky name polls, I'll join in. We're set on the first name and the spelling. That's not going to change. But we can't decide on a MN. You can vote and then I'm welcome to additional suggestions. I want something that makes my heart sing. Last name starts with an M.

    I always hesitate to pair first names that end with the same sound/letter the middle name will begin with. The "elle" sound at the end of Anabelle runs into the L's of Lee and Lynn too much for my taste. But then there's always the argument that they won't be used together that often. So go with what you love!

    I picked Anabelle Cate. Love it!

    Annabel Lee is my favorite Edgar Allen Poe poem :)))
    Of course it is Poe so Annabel Lee is his love who has died, but I think it is romantic...

    "And we loved with a love that was more than a love" is my favorite line

    Another good part:
    "For the moon never beams, without bringing me dreams
    Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
    And the stars never rise, but I feel the bright eyes
    Of the beautiful Annabel Lee"

    And I am done. But yeah that is my incredibly biased opinion.

    ETA: I got so excited I missed someone already mentioning this. Oh well I stand by my response :)

    I chose Anabelle Joy because I am big on giving kids lots of options for NNs.  'AJ' could be a great NN in the future if your daughter is the more rough and tough type, but at the same time, AJ isn't the automatic, assumed NN so it leaves the option of her choosing a more feminine NN.

    Cate or Joy. I like Jane too.

    I don't like the L names just because they run together. Saying Annabelle Lee sounds like Anna Belly to me.

    @mel689 That is my hesitation with Anabelle Lee, too. I just can't NOT hear Anna Belly. DH thinks it's not a big deal. But. It seems like a big deal to me.

    Annabelle Lynn has been our girl's name since DS#1, so I had to vote for that one! Anabelle Joy would probably be my 2nd choice :)

    Love Annabelle Lee, so pretty, I also like pp suggestion of the spelling Leigh, it makes it a little bit more feminine. Annabelle Leigh looks nice in my opinion:)
