Re: ***Wednesday Ticker Change***

  • 1. How many weeks are you?/How big is baby? (Fruit/Veggie) 30 weeks!

    2. Symptoms, Rants, Cravings, Appointments? I have an OB appointment at 3 and the MFM tomorrow at 1:30.
Feeling good this morning considering I had terrible nightmares all night.

    3. GTKY: If you had your pick, would you want to win the lottery or be recognized as a hero?  I have no idea how to answer so not sure why asked!  I think being a hero would be better for your self worth and be more meanringful than winning the lotto.  But I wouldn't turn my nose up at it!

  • 1. How many weeks are you?/How big is baby? (Fruit/Veggie)  29 weeks, so acorn squash.  Schroeder must be one large acorn squash as the one we have sitting on our kitchen counter is much smaller (and lighter) than her estimated size.

    2. Symptoms, Rants, Cravings, Appointments?  Enjoying a week off from appointments - probably will be my last until Schroeder arrives.  I have my 6 month check up with my GP - can't wait for her to see me (I have had the same GP for over 10 years so she has gotten to know me fairly well).

    3. GTKY: If you had your pick, would you want to win the lottery or be recognized as a hero?  Lottery.  I tend to be a private person and would rather just quietly give money to charity than be publicly lauded for some act of heroism.

    Married 10/06

Baby Girl "C" arrived on 10/07/14 (39 weeks, 6 days)

  • 1. How many weeks are you?/How big is baby? (Fruit/Veggie) 28 weeks - eggplant!
    2. Symptoms, Rants, Cravings, Appointments? Holy crap, I woke up at 3:00am and I felt ATROCIOUS! I felt like I was going to poop myself and barf at the same time! (sorry TMI) My belly was very tight!  Was I possibly having contractions?? Can you feel chills with contractions? Baby was still kicking up a storm, so I felt a little better because of that.  I have an appointment tomorrow, so I will ask my midwife about it then.  I was just freaking out though because earlier I received a call from Kroger about the recalled fruit AND of course I had eaten a peach earlier in the day - although they didn't seem to be the same brand.   Uhh!  My appointment tomorrow is the GD test.  I've been eating well all week to prepare, I just hope it goes well!
    3. GTKY: If you had your pick, would you want to win the lottery or be recognized as a hero?  This might sound selfish, but I'd probably like to win the lotto too.   X_X  I agree with @bazingabee that I would be able to help more people by donating I believe.

29 weeks, acorn squash! The Boy is measuring about a week ahead, though, according to the US I had this morning: 3lbs 5oz, 68th percentile. The MFM said that's still good for a diabetic.

We also talked about expectations for the rest of the pregnancy. He thinks it looks like I will do well and make it to 39 or 40 weeks without having to be induced earlier due to diabetes. I start twice-weekly NSTs in three weeks.

I'd take the lottery/donor option, too. I don't have the personality to be a hero.

27 weeks!  WTF is a rutabaga?  Because that's what size Nemo is.

    2. Symptoms, Rants, Cravings, Appointments? Symptoms - never ending heartburn and acid reflux.  Rants - I can not sleep laying down comfortably, I think I am going to start sleeping in a recliner. Cravings - I don't think it's a craving so much as a realization that it won't hurt to eat.  I'm making fresh bread tonight!  I think wheat bread will not cause heartburn...  I HOPE!  Appointments - Next appointment is Aug. 4.
    3. GTKY: If you had your pick, would you want to win the lottery or be recognized as a hero?  I would like to be recognized as a hero for something selfless and noble.

  • 1. How many weeks are you?/How big is baby? (Fruit/Veggie) 30 weeks. Cucumber. 3/4 done!!!!!

    2. Symptoms, Rants, Cravings, Appointments? My back hurts like a mofo. Heartburn. BHs. SPD. Getting full faster. Appointment in 2 weeks, my OB said he'll be doing a size estimate, I'm curious to see if this LO will follow in her brothers' footsteps and be a big baby.

    3. GTKY: If you had your pick, would you want to win the lottery or be recognized as a hero? Lotto & donate money. I like my privacy too much to be a hero.

  • 1. How many weeks are you?/How big is baby? 28w, eggplant

    2. Symptoms, Rants, Cravings, Appointments? My vagina hurts when I walk because of all the pressure.  Not cool.  I had my 28w appt yesterday and did the glucose drink.  No GD or anemia, but they are going to watch my blood pressure.  My next appointment is in 2 weeks.  I can't believe they are that close together already!

    3. GTKY: If you had your pick, would you want to win the lottery or be recognized as a hero? Definitely win the lottery.  I wouldn't necessarily need to win $180 mil- but $30k would help so much.
