I'll keep this short and sweet.
Work is throwing a shower for me in 2 weeks.
One of the ladies who contributed money is also pregnant and due in November.
I'm not due to come back until LATE in November/early December.
Should I leave some money with one of my co-worker friends for her shower that I'm 100% sure will be held while I'm out, or just "Let it go! LET IT GO!!!" (I couldn't resist).
For the record; I know she contributed money because I was talking about some work she does, and one of the ladies throwing mine mentioned it in passing. NOT because I asked or anything. I'm just excited because CAKE!!!

Re: Shower Reciprocation Etiquette
Started TTC in 2006, LOTS of trying, and trying, and 7 rounds of IVF with 13 embryos, 2 perfect little boys and 5 loses....
All finished with babies, started to make diet changes, Keto, to be MORE for my kids, lost 30 pounds, still going, and 3 months in, I had a natural cycle, and then ovulated... Hubs and I are going to see what happens now... Maybe a natural pregnancy? After everything we have been through? Or just a return to normal hormones? We shall see what the future holds!
Baby Dust To All!!!
I think I'll wait then and just leave a little something on her desk for when she returns (or visits after her LO is born). That way, I'll know the sex (in so far as I'm aware, no one in the office knows yet), and I could potentially get her something along those lines.
