I'm feeling pretty good. I'm super exhausted, but that's mostly from Benjamin's inconsistent sleeping. I'm also a lot less patient than I used to be, and I get irrationally angry/emotional much more quickly and often than I used to.
4. Any appointments or updates?
I finally started telling people in my extended family and some coworkers. I /really/ need to meet with HR and find a long-term substitute! Next appointment is A/S on the 31st, and we're team find out this time. I don't have any real intuition this time (I knew Benjamin was a boy before I ever peed on the stick). If I had to guess, I'd say girl this time.
5. What, if anything, are you doing to prepare your LO(s) for the new baby's arrival?
We're doing as much as possible ahead of time so that the only real change in Benjamin's life is the new baby at home. He's been playing with his doll a little more since meeting a friend's new baby. We practice gentle touching, but that's not necessarily related to the new baby. I bought him "My New Baby" and we've read it a couple times. We've weaned(!!!), so I'm hoping that Benjamin doesn't start getting mad again when I won't nurse him but nurse the baby. They're going to share a room at least until one of them is potty trained, so the new crib arrived yesterday and I'll set it up at some point soon - perhaps this afternoon while Benjamin is at Daycare. That said, I know that he doesn't really get it, and probably won't care when the baby comes home and the real problems will come when the baby starts getting mobile and interested in his toys.
1. How far along are you? 29 weeks and change. 2. When is your due date? 10/3 3. How are you feeling? Mostly fine- some back pain, which sucks when there is a 25 pound kiddo that wants picked up all the time!! 4. Any appointments or updates? Appointment on Monday. Glucose test was last week- passed- Yay! 5. What, if anything, are you doing to prepare your LO(s) for the new baby's arrival? Ummm... Not a whole lot. Our ultimate plan is to move B out of the nursery and the baby will move in there. We have not made any progress on B's new room though... So... Yeah. I think I spent the first about 25 weeks preoccupied with other health concerns that we had, that only now am I actually realizing that - crap- I'm having another baby. Nothing like coming to that realization with only a little over ten weeks to go. Sorry- that got long winded- I'm overwhelmed.
4. Any appointments or updates?had my NT scan yesterday. Everything looks good the Dr said. Had a bunch of blood drawn. The Dr. Does 2 A/S. Once at 16 weeks and another at 20 weeks. I find out Aug 12 if baby is boy or girl. We are all crossing our fingers tight for a girl this time! 3 boys already, I'm ready for pink girly things!
5. What, if anything, are you doing to prepare your LO(s) for the new baby's arrival?nothing much yet. I've got everything we'll need. If it's a girl I'll need clothes, that's it. We are more preparing transitioning Owen into a big boy bed, his new room ect. We are moving in September, so that's when we'll start the transition.
I posted this yesterday on the random pic thread, but should have posted here today.
3. How are you feeling? Like others, exhausted. Chasing around a newly walking toddler is tiring!
4. Any appointments or updates? Next appointment is 30 weeks - my last four week!
5. What, if anything, are you doing to prepare your LO(s) for the new baby's arrival? Honestly... nothing special specifically for the baby. Which is probably bad of us. Buying the carseat and stroller soon. SO changed his mind about a new car after seeing how two carseats can fit into our current one. We try to explain to DD that she's going to have a little brother but she doesnt understand.
1. How far along are you?4w4d 2. When is your due date? EDD is March 27th
3. How are you feeling? Tired, and all the pregnancy rage. Also baby brain, holy crap I've gone stupid!
Unrelated to pregnancy, but in serious pain because W sliced my cornea yesterday with his fingernail whilst swatting at my face. Awesome.
4. Any appointments or updates? First appt and u/s is August 18th.
5. What, if anything, are you doing to prepare your LO(s) for the new baby's arrival? Not much really. Working on gentle hands, but was doing that anyway. Trying to make up my mind about weaning.
1. How far along are you? 19w today, almost half way done
2. When is your due date? 12/16/14
3. How are you feeling? Feel wonderful. I have an anterior placenta this time and am patiently waiting to feel this baby kick. I do feel him rolling/stretching though
4. Any appointments or updates? Have our follow up ultrasound Thursday to double check a couple measurements. Excited to see our lil guy again.
5. What, if anything, are you doing to prepare your LO(s) for the new baby's arrival? Not doing anything. We have Jameson transitioned to his room and crib at night (I really miss co sleeping though) so that we don't have two babies co sleeping with us. Once the new baby is STTN both babies will be in the same room. Other than that just have to buy this lil guy some clothes since he will be a winter baby while my other two were summer babies.
Pretty good. Nausea has eased up. I still get occasional queasiness, and headaches, but nothing too crazy.
4. Any appointments or updates?
I had my 1st Dr.'s appt. last week, she confirmed that I was pregnant (no news there), and had my blood taken and had my exam. I didn't get a call back so I'm guessing everythings good. I have my dating u/s on Monday. So much anticipation had lead up to this...I'm sure I'll be totally overwhelmed once I see my jellybean.
5. What, if anything, are you doing to prepare your LO(s) for the new baby's arrival?
Not much right now, I'm just trying to think about what we might need extras of. I think we definitely need a double stroller.
3. How are you feeling? Fine just exhausted. No m/s just motion sickness which is annoying.
4. Any appointments or updates? First appointment Friday. (ETA: I'm really worried my doc is going to yell at me for being so heavy this time. it's something stupid to worry about, but it's in the back of my head.)
5. What, if anything, are you doing to prepare your LO(s) for the new baby's arrival? I'm so undecided on how to proceed with setting up a big girl bed for L or just leaving her in the crib for a while? I think I'm planning on side-carring an inexpensive crib with the new baby so I'm not eager to move her out of a crib in the mean time. I haven't weaned and i change my mind every 5 seconds. And lastly L apparently likes to rough house and she was climbing on me, and then stood on my belly this weekend so I am trying to mainly do 'gentle' with mommy, rough house with daddy.
@mcbush, I'm starting an accountability thread every Monday on March board, your welcome to join us. C is constantly on me too, I know she's not hurting anything right now, but I don't know how I'll handle it in a few months when I'm bigger, and she's bigger.
3. How are you feeling? Fine. My ribs are still busted from being sick.
4. Any appointments or updates? Met with the specialist yesterday and had an ultrasound. DD's kidneys are still swollen, but not any more than before so that's good. I go back for another ultrasound in 6 weeks.
5. What, if anything, are you doing to prepare your LO(s) for the new baby's arrival? We already bought a city select and the extra seat, bought a second crib, and we're converting my house from a duplex to a single family... so there's that nightmare.
3. How are you feeling? Tired and lots of restless nights. I am constantly getting up to pee. My hips have also been hurting, and I've been crampy. Just the usual pregnancy woes, so I can't complain too much.
4. Any appointments or updates? My next appointment is Monday. They will be doing the growth scan U/S which will be cool.
5. What, if anything, are you doing to prepare your LO(s) for the new baby's arrival? The 2nd nursery is almost finished and I started packing a hospital bag. Shit's about to get real. Ha ha.
