Hi all,
This may be a dumb question, but here goes. My daughter is 17 months old. She nurses in the morning, after work, to sleep, and several times throughout the night. I'm trying to drop the last 5-10 lbs of baby weight, so I am following the weightwatchers plan. My question is, do I still need to consume the extra calories in order to keep my established supply, or can I cut those out? I'm just not seeing a change in my weight (although I'm not gaining, simply maintaining), so I thought maybe my body doesn't "need" the extra calories that are built in to my plan as a breastfeeding mother who supplements with food. Thanks! And I apologize for the fickle nature of this post, but I'm curious.
