Ok - strange question - but can I eat pre-made chicken salad from a deli???

I've never seen anything that says otherwise. It's cooked chicken and if it's from a reputable place you shouldn't worry.

I had an egg salad sandwich from Subway a few weeks ago. I was a little reluctant but damn it tasted good.

I think the main thing is the mayo, bc the chicken is cooked. I think as long as the use premade mayo (like Hellmans), which uses pasteurized egg, then you can dig in. If they make the mayo from scratch at the store, then I would be wary. But, honestly, who makes mayo anymore? That would be very expensive chicken salad if they did that!
