Update re: Friend's Miracle Pregnancy

A while back I posted about a friend who had tried conceive for 17 long years with no success until now. I just wanted to update that she is having a girl!

She is healthy and everything looks normal on her US.

That's amazing. We tried for 2.5 years before getting pregnant and it was so demoralizing. I can't imagine 17. I hope it continues to go well!

I passed the kind words along to her. I think I may be more excited over her pregnancy than I was over my own. At the US, the tech gave her their printouts in a sandwich baggie because she and her husband cried so many happy tears that the tech was worried they would spoil the paper before she got to show them to anyone.

I think it's awesome that you are so supportive and thrilled for her. Infertility is a hard road to travel, and one of the best things someone can have is the support of a good friend to share the journey with.
